tired. plus weekend.

what a start to a new week, and a new placement! i was tired out from the weekend, and i lost sleep last nite from stress! i was purely running on adrenalin (or cortisol, cos of stress) for the IQ test in the morning. so imagine my relief when my sup said I can choose to go home for the afternoon!

weekend was meaningful, although very tiring. my cell helped out at the children's church so that teachers can take a break for this teachers' day weekend. it was really amazing to see the cell growing in service, and i'm so excited to be part of this. the kids were cute...... mostly....... and some were just not that cute. like candida said, i was looking pale after handling the bunch of noisy boys! well, let's just hope my own kids will be the guai and don't give much trouble sorta children. heh.

anyway, i think my cell did a great job at the children's church. as it was in bintan, we stepped up and covered for each other as and when needed, and many took the initiative to interact with the kids. even though it was a one time thingy, i'm sure we have already blessed the teachers and children there. and it was such a touching moment to hear the children sing the worship songs!

we had a great dinner at zhou zhuang at anchorpoint on sat too. although none of us could catch MJ's concert shown on TV, i think the food and the company was more than enough to make up for that. it was actually quite interesting to be having a chinese sit down dinner with the cell in a restaurant. and it wasn't for a wedding dinner. heh. feels like family.
