Batam trip

It's a long overdue post but i haven't had the luxury to sit down and blog in quite a while, so here it is:

Went to Batam for a short getaway. Actually we planned to go for a chalet instead, but chalet in s'pore isn't exactly very cheap. So decided to go for a short trip instead. actually the price difference wasn't tt much, so batam was worth it. Oh, and i'm very thankful that the trip came at a rite time cos i think i was near breakdown from stress at tt pt of time.

We were tryin to decide bet Harris resort and Holiday Inn, but chose the latter cos i read somewhere that the food at Harris wasn't good. Turns out tt our choice was pretty good cos Hol Inn had nice food! heh. Basically the whole trip was pretty fuss free. I was quite worried cos there's no beach at the resort and we need to take cab to go to the shopping malls (i'm kinda more "used to" Bintan) so safety and boredom were of concern. Thankfully, it was quite a pleasant experience cos the hotel got us a cab and the cab driver came back at a stipulated time to drive us back. The hotel facilities were good too, nice swimming poolS, good number of cable channels, good food etc. Oh, and much of the stuff they sell in Batam is cheap. and there were J CO Donuts! yum yum!

Food, food and more food! We bought 4 dozens of donuts, and loads of other tidbits. Tidbits were C.H.E.A.P!

Craziest - never thot i'll go for smthg so exciting and "rugged"
Silliest - why didn't anyone tell me my helmet was lopsided all along??
Exciting - I nearly fell off the bike while gg over a mound!
